The first race will be held at the Kate Reed Recreation Area, adjacent the Silverdome in Prospect, Launceston on the 18th December 2016 at 9:00AM sharp. Race brief will be at 8:45AM and we strongly advise participants to arrive another 15-30 minutes or so earlier to organise race bibs and warm up.

The course will be approximately 10KM in length (2 laps of a 5KM circuit), consisting of a mix of rolling fire trail and mountain bike-style singletrack suitable for runners of all abilities, with just enough technical terrain to makes things fun! This course will be a great introduction for those new to trail running, so why not bring along a friend, colleague or family member who’s always wanted to have a go.
As with all Ultrain events, the focus is on enjoying our local trails and having fun. Refreshments will be provided after the race, and is included in the entry fee of $30.
